Greetings from LaSalle

Another day on the road with the Four Amigos. After a restful and comfortable night in Milan, OH we got back on the Ohio Turnpike at 10 AM heading west. The weather was sunny and warm, up to 85 degrees as we went along. we have been admiring the rest areas and welcome centers as we have traveled on the interstates.
Because the Griffins have the 42' 5th wheel on their Ford 350 pickup they park in the truck and RV lots, mostly we pull in with our Toyota Sienna right near them and hope no big rig squashes us.
In the RV parks Ernie has reserved sites where he can pull through without having to back up. The RV park tonight is a KOA about 1 1/2 miles north of I-80 near LaSalle Illinois. We got here at 6 PM,, having set our clocks back in Indiana which means we took nine hours on the road, with stops for lunch and comfort.
Now Kay and Donna are fixing an easy dinner of grilled chicken filets, brown rice and salad and Ernie is serving wine. What a life.
