We stayed in the RV Park in LaSalle, Illinois until 11 AM. Shortly after pulling out we stopped for fuel and then got on I-80 for a mile and then I-39 North. We saw a lot of State Troopers along the way, some having stopped big rigs and some waiting in the medians. Ernie has a CB radio and overheard truckers talking about all the patrols. If they warn each other at least they slow down a little. When we crossed over into Wisconsin we stopped at the first rest area/Welcome/information center. The sun was strong, temp about 85 degrees and windy. We sat at a cement picnic table and had a lunch. I will try to post the video from that stop later.
